Pawbuluous is an app designed to give pet owners easily accessible resources for their animals. Although various pet care applications are available on the market, the majority of them cater to specific needs rather than providing a comprehensive solution. All features highlighted in the app are derived from face-to-face interviews, as well as a survey created to find pain points people experience when using apps to help care for their pets.​

Project Goal: Design a functioning, user-friendly app that fulfills all the needs of a pet owner, and enhances their lifestyle.

Thematic Treatment
The app's functions are organized using friendly and soft colors from the rainbow spectrum. Sans-serif typefaces with rounded edges are selected to convey the app's convenient and trustworthy aesthetic. Recognizing the special bond between pet owners and their pets, the design reflects this family connection through every element of the app's interface, including illustrations and imagery.

Pet Profile
Upon registration, the user establishes a pet profile which offers a thorough rundown of all the app’s functions in one convenient location. The profile also shows the pet’s training level and allows users to post images that friends may view within the app.
Home Screen
Upon signing into the app, the user is directed to a dashboard-style home screen featuring color-coded icons for each function, along with a calendar to track appointments and events the user has registered for. An option to add reminders is also available.

Health & Medical
The app’s health feature is intended to assist the owner in keeping an eye on their pet’s diet, water intake, and exercise. The medical tool allows the user to manage their pet’s immunization schedule, book appointments with a veterinarian, live chat with a doctor, and send an SOS call in case of an emergency.
Connect
Through Pawbulous’ connect function, users can interact with other pets and their owners and find and register for pet-related events in their area. Events are categorized to enhance the efficiency of the search process.

Groom & Train
The groom feature enables users to find and book appointments with local, top-rated groomers. Pet owners can view and practice with their pets using the training feature, which offers a collection of films arranged by level. The pet’s training level is updated on their profile upon completion of each video. Users can also schedule sessions with nearby trainers.
Locate
Users can easily search for all services on a map using Pawbuluous’ location feature, which lets them book several appointments at once. The app also includes a pet locator function that connects to a GPS collar available for purchase via the app.

Documents & Shopping
All pet-related paperwork can be easily uploaded and scanned using the app’s documents section. Documents can be organized by sorting them into folders. The shopping section contributes to the app’s revenue by offering branded merchandise, including a GPS collar which can be linked to the pet locator function of the app.
